Car stolen from right under their nose, Blacks Beach
At about 11pm on September 4 the owner of a white 2009 model Toyota Hilux dual cab – registration number 210 MVH was in the process of connecting a business caravan to the car for work purposes.
At the time the car was parked on the front lawn of a residential property in Cavanagh Drive in Blacks Beach. The car radio was turned on while the owner was working and the keys were left in the as the owner was simply metres away.
The owner has then heard in quick succession, male voices – car doors closing – the Toyota Hilux ignition starting up and being driven away. The owner briefly gave chase before calling police.
It is possible that police may receive an image of the stolen car to share with you later today.
