Colourful messages for Queensland Road Safety Week
Elanora Police Beat held colouring in competitions at three local schools during Queensland Road Safety Week this week.
Tallebudgera Primary, Elanora Primary and St Augustine’s schools participated.
Judging was a very difficult task for the panel which was made up of local dignitatries, police and staff, however there were lots of prizes on offer ranging from new BMX bikes to passes to the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.
This poster was selected for the great effort that went into it and also the several messages it displayed.

A great effort with this entry among the best and taking out first prize at Elanora Primary
Congratulations to the many winners of bikes, scooters, helmets and passes to Currumbin Sanctuary, Air Factory and McDonald’s.
The competition created a lot of awareness around road safety issues and talk about everything from bicycle helmets to mums and dads talking on mobile phones while driving.

Winners of the BMX bikes at Elanora Primary a great effort in raising awareness about Road Safety.
