Glenden’s fortune and misfortune

Glenden’s fortune and misfortune

The township of Glenden (west of Mackay) has not experienced a break and enter since February this year!

Until yesterday…

Between 8am and 6:30pm on September 13, someone has entered the home in Gilbert Avenue, Glenden through a back door which had been left open for the benefit of a young dog while the home was unattended temporarily.

One room has been targeted by the crook – a bedroom which was thoroughly ransacked. It appears at this stage that nothing has been stolen.

No matter where you live, police encourage all residents to keep their homes locked and secured when they are unattended.

We are crossing our fingers for you Glenden and hoping that you don’t see another break and enter for months once again. If we cross our toes as well, maybe we can change that to years instead of months!

If anyone has information about this particular matter that they wish to share with police, the police report number to refer to is QP1701609636.
