Prowler concerns residents in South Mackay
A prowler has allegedly entered several residential yards, looked through home windows and threatened to steal one resident’s car in the McKenney Street, South Mackay area between 4:00 – 4:20 pm on September 6.
A resident has verbally challenged the prowler causing him to leave the area – the prowler is described as follows :
- aged in mid forties, caucasian in appearance, blonde short hair, wearing a green flat cap, grey tshirt, board shorts and in possession of a red bike.
Patrols conducted by police did not locate the man. Police encourage any resident who finds a person in their yard unlawfully to report the matter promptly by ringing triple zero.
