Road safety focus for Sarina
Sarina Police attended a number of local schools during Road Safety Week to educate and raise awareness with the children of the important factors of road safety week that affect them.
Police spoke about the importance of wearing helmets while riding a bicycle. With help from Corry Cycles, Mackay, police were about to reward one lucky student a voucher to Corry Cycles to get measured and purchase a helmet.
The lucky child from Swaynesville State School was Brent Dale.
Congratulations to Brent and thank you for the local schools for their participation during Road Safety Week 2017.
